Indications
Hyalubrix is a temporary substitute for synovial fluid for patients affected by degenerative or mechanical arthropathy, which causes an alteration of the functionality of synovial fluid, without active synovitis. Intra-articular use.
Dose and Method of Use
Inject Hyalubrix, using a suitable sterile needle (for example, 18 or 20 G), into the affected joint at weekly intervals for a total of 3 weeks. If necessary, additional injections may be performed. The administration of the product must be carried out exclusively by specialist doctors. All rules regarding asepsis and injection techniques must be observed. If there is an effusion, remove it before injecting Hyalubrix.
Features
Hyalubrix is a sterile, apyrogenic, viscoelastic solution made with sodium hyaluronate, obtained by bacterial fermentation from a high molecular weight fraction. Many studies indicate that the administration of hyaluronic acid by intramuscular injection is able to restore the viscoelastic properties of synovial fluid, resulting in pain relief and improved joint mobility.
Components
Sodium hyaluronate 1.5%; sodium chloride; sodium phosphate dibasic 12H2O; sodium phosphate monobasic 2H2O; water for injectable preparations.
* The application of the product is reserved exclusively for professional healthcare operators with adequate qualifications.
