Reticulated and linearly intercalated hyaluronic acid
Regenflex BIO-PLUS is a transparent gel based on reticulated hyaluronic acid and incorporated linear hyaluronic acid, made through an advanced patented technological process.
This intra-articular injection aims to prevent or reduce pain and restore the normal shock-absorbing and lubrication functions typical of the joint.
It will not only improve joint function but also enhance the patient’s quality of life.
Question about weight: 2 molecular fractions
The mechanism of action of hyaluronic acid depends on its molecular weight. In fact, the latter parameter influences the amount of exogenous hyaluronic acid that can pass through the synovia: this amount is inversely proportional to the molecular weight itself. The synergy between reticulated hyaluronic acid and incorporated linear hyaluronic acid allows the infusion of two molecular fractions:
Regenflex BIO-PLUS and Biorivolumetry
BIORIVOLUMETRY is an innovative concept in the field of injectable medical devices based on hyaluronic acid.
Simultaneous recovery of the volume of the joint cavity with the introduction of RETICULATED HYALURONIC ACID, and simultaneous receptor stimulation of synovial cells and chondrocytes by the linear portion of INCORPORATED HA that is gradually released over time using the same product
Production technology and mechanism of action
The production technology used by Regenflex BIO-PLUS is BIORIVOLUMETRY.
Biorivolumetric products are single-phase gels obtained from a “gentle reticulation” process of long-lasting low-temperature reticulation. Slow mixing allows for better and more uniform distribution of the reticulant (BDDE). Compared to most other products of the same viscosity on the market, BDDE is used in less than 30%. Regenflex BIO-PLUS uses 3 molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, 1 MLN, 2 MLN, and 500,000 Dalton. The latter, linear and intercalated, correspond to 10% of the total hyaluronic acid. HA chains of different lengths allow for better calibration of the product’s viscosity. Linear hyaluronic acid is gradually released over time with a prolonged biological action (viscosity induction).
